- Decorative Touch (optional) – This could be anything from stamps to acrylographs, or of course, nothing!
1 | Theme Ideas
It will be no surprise to you, but I LOVE floral themes. While I love florals all year around, as we're getting into summer, I particularly love to see my social feed flood with vibrant floral spreads.
If you're thinking of a floral theme, here's an amazing blog with so many fun floral and summer theme ideas to choose from!
Another thing that I love in June is ice cream! Do you love ice cream? It made me think, wouldn't an ice cream theme be amazing? And I actually found this gorgeous spread by Liz (@thegraytergood) on Instagram.
You can even find a blog on how to make this ice cream theme here!
Finally, if none of those themes jump out at you, you are sure to find a theme idea in this blog with over 100 ideas to chose from! I'd love to know what you pick.
2 | Summer Spread Ideas
When I settled on my theme, I decided I also wanted to include some fun summer spreads too.
One thing I thought of was a summer bucket list. I like to take advantage of the warmer weather whenever possible, but work can easily get in the way without it meaning to. Therefore, a bucket list is a really fun idea to mark down some of the fun activities you want to make the time to do! You can see this blog on how to create your own summer bucket list by the amazing Masha (@mashaplans), and it also includes some fun summer doodles as inspiration too!
Not all summer activities are fun, therefore I love this summer checklist by Charizze from @art_bujo_charizzetotto. It's a great place to see everything you need to do this summer all in once place! See this blog for a step-by-step tutorial on how to create this spread!
Finally, there's nothing better in the warmer weather than a nice, cold, refreshing drink. Marsha (@do_you_salut) created this amazing blog with lots of inspiration for some summer mocktails. Adding these to the bucket list!!
