Valentine's Day Decoration Ideas

by Maria Irina 12 Feb 2020 0 Comments

Hey, Masha here from Masha Plans!

Today we are embracing a lovely dovey February mood with some awesome decoration ideas for your Bullet Journal.

February brings, of course, Valentine’s day so love is in the air! You might not be the kind of gal that makes the whole February setup love-themed, but I bet you’d like to do at least one spread full of pink hearts! Or black ones in case you are more hardcore!

Well, here’s hoping you do because I came up with some seriously cute little tips for you!

Today, I decided to come up with several ideas for Valentine’s day pages, but first let’s take a look at the supplies I used.

SUPPLIES

Notebook: Of course I’m using my B5 Archer and Olive notebook, which is the perfect size to include all the ideas.

If you decide to buy yourself anything from Archer and Olive, be sure to use my code MASHA10 for 10% off your order.

Fineliners: I went again with Stabilo, they are great and I love the red color they have! Perfect for all the hearts.

Color: I’m using my pastel Stabilo markers.

BORDERS

First, here are some border ideas for you! These are pretty simple but can bring a lot of flair to your pages.

There are several ways you can use borders in your Bullet Journal pages:

  • Divide days of the week
  • Create daily boxes
  • Decorate headers
  • Create quote frames

Using borders really helps to bring the mood and unify your page and requires no special creative skills.

HEADERS

Yes, for your headers you can always just use pink or red colors, but here are a few simple ideas to make them a bit more fun.

In case you’re wondering my headers say mon because usually in my weeklies this is how I write my days of the week. Ain’t nobody got time for a whole word!

DOODLES

Finally, here are some of Valentine’s themed doodles. They’re all super simple to recreate, and if you don’t believe me - just check the video at the end of the post!

I thought it looks pretty good to use just pink, red and black fineliner! But of course, feel free to add all the colors you want.

There are a few ways you can use doodles in your Bullet Journal:

  • Decorate your pages
  • Create doodly habit tracker
  • Record your gratitude
  • Create a memory page

The possibilities are quite limitless! Personally, I’d probably use some of these to create a memory page of our Valentine’s Day date.

FREE PRINTABLES

Of course, I wanted to leave you with something special, so I created a set of printable Valentine’s Day themed stickers!

Print them out on a sticker paper, cut it out and they are ready to decorate your Bullet Journal pages.
