Takeout Restaurant Ratings Tracker + Printable

by Guest Blogger 24 Mar 2021 0 Comments

Hey crew, it’s Mark from @Menwhobullet on Instagram and Youtube

Over the past year, my wife and I have been exploring beyond our usual takeout spots. We’ve been trying to support locally owned restaurants since so many have been hit so hard. So, something I started to do was write down the places we got food from, rated them, and added a few notes about what we got. It’s been a great collections page to refer back to and we’ve found some really great spots and delicious food in our area.

Today, I’m going to recreate my page as a one pager for you in an A5 notebook. If you like it, you can make it a double pager or resize for your own journal or planner.

Supplies:

Archer and Olive Kraft Paper A5 Journal
Pencil
Black Marker
2 Acyrlograph Pens or Markers

To get started, the first thing I am going to do is make a rough layout the page using my pencil. In the A5 journal, we are starting 1 space from the left, and 6 spaces down. From that point, this first box is 11 spaces wide, and 10 spaces tall.

On the left side, I am going to draw 5 small horizontal ovals, about two squares a part down the box. Next, you are going to draw 5 small vertical ovals overlapping on the right side. This is going to create your "notebook binder".

Once you have all your ovals drawn, you can roughly sketch in your box. On the right side of your page, you are going to draw 2 small tabs, about 2 squares tall. These are just decorative, but add a nice fun look to the container.

Next, it's time to create the rest on your page. With the spacing I gave you before, you should be able to fit a total of 6 boxes on your A5 page.

Once you have your page laid out in pencil, start outlining your pencil lines with your fineliner or marker.

If you’d like to add some color, you can use your favorite color Acrylograph pens to color in on the tabs.

When your page is all filled out, you can start adding in the restaurants name, rating stars, and food you ordered. Once you start to explore more places and trying new things you can start to build up your collection.
