Summer Bucket List In Your Bullet Journal

by Guest Blogger 15 Mar 2021 0 Comments

Hey guys, Masha here from Masha Plans.

Today we are talking about creating a bucket list, specifically a summer one.

I love creating bucket lists, so I hope you enjoy this post and creating a fun little bucket list for yourself!

WHAT IS A BUCKET LIST

A bucket list is basically a list of things you want to do. It can be something you want to do before the end of the year or something to do let’s say this summer.

I find it very fun to create these lists, because they remind me of the things I can enjoy but usually forget to, with life getting in the way.

Creating a bucket list also helps you to concentrate more on actually accomplishing these things. When you put the desires on the paper you subconsciously start finding ways to make these things happen.

And of course, it’s just another page idea to add to your Bullet Journal.

SUMMER BUCKET LIST IDEAS

Before we start creating the page, let’s take a look at a few ideas you might want to include in your summer bucket list:

  • Go to an Amusement Park
  • Pick Strawberries
  • Try a New Food
  • Attend a Parade
  • Have a Picnic
  • Grow an Herb Garden
  • Nap in a Hammock
  • Make Tie-Dye T- Shirts
  • Eat a hot dog straight from the grill
  • Go to a carnival
  • Listen to an outdoor concert
  • Watch fireworks
  • Catch fireflies
  • Watch a sunset
  • Eat a funnel cake
  • Volunteer somewhere
  • Paint something

SUPPLIES

Ok I think we have everything to create a perfect summer bucket list for now .

I decided to use my square journal by Archer and Olive. I really have been enjoying using it lately for creating fun pages and header ideas.

Remember that if you get any Archer and Olive products you can use code MASHA10 to get 10% off your order.

It took me a while to decide on what colors to use because I wanted to go with something bright for summer. Eventually, I decided on a mix of markers that allowed me to create the effect I wanted.

SUMMER BUCKET LIST

As always, I started by creating a pencil sketch. Summer doodles are very simple, so I really just outlined the main shapes.

Here are a few summer doodles to help you when you’ll be creating your own summer bucket list.

Once the outlines were done, I colored the doodles and added the text in the middle.

This time, I felt like I wanted to go with a more traditional list style for my bucket list. That way I can actually tick things off when I finish them.

I wonder if I’ll be able to do those things. Honestly, things change every week with this virus, so hard to predict!

But we have our bucket lists to dream, so whether I’ll be able to do it all or just a few things - it doesn’t matter.

Will you be creating a summer bucket list in your Bullet Journal?

If you decide to create one, be sure to tag me @mashaplans and @archerandolive on Instagram, we would love to see your creations.
