Inspiration For Your July Bullet Journal - With FREE Calendar Printable

by Bonnie Kuhl 30 Jun 2017 0 Comments

Happy July all! How is it half way through the year already?

As I set up my July bullet journal and July calendar, I thought it would be fun to share some of the bullet journal inspiration I found for July, including fun bullet journal themes and some helpful bullet journal mid-year ideas. And don't forget to keep reading to the end to get a free July calendar printable!

Supplies For Your July Bullet Journal:

  • Archer and Olive Journal – The lovely and thick pages have no bleeding or ghosting, so you get a clean start for every June spread! Also, it means you can decorate the spread without worrying about it.
  • Pencil – to plan out your spread ideas.
  • Pen – Your favorite pen to ink in your spreads.
  • Decorative Touch (optional) – This could be anything from stamps to acrylographs, or of course, nothing!

1 | July Themes

Food Doodles

There's something about fresh fruit and veggies that make me think about eating in the warm weather. I LOVE these fruit and vegetable doodles, and they would make such an amazing theme. See the full blog here!

If fruit and vegetables aren't your thing, Masha recently created a sushi doodle blog too. Check it out here. How CUTE!?

Lemons

Nothing says July more than sitting outside with a cool drink and refreshing slice of lemon. Bring that feeling into your bullet journal with an amazing lemon theme! See how in this blog! It also include more fun summer theme ideas!

Sunglasses

And next I saw this amazing blog on how to make a sunglasses bullet journal tracker, and I thought how amazing would it be to have a full sunglasses theme? Go check out how to make the trackers here!

2 | Changing Journals Mid Year

And something else I want to talk about is that July is a really common time for people to finish a journal and start a new one for the last half of the year. How many journals do you go through in a year?

Starting a new journal can be exciting, but it can be hard to decide what to migrate mid-year, so make sure to check out this blog on which spreads to keep, and which ones to refer back to!

Something else I thought would be great to do to celebrate the mid-year is a monthly, or maybe even a 6 month review. Somewhere to document the highlights from the year so far, and lay out some challenges still to tackle! If this sounds like something you want to do, check out this blog on how to make a review page!
