How To Set Up And Use A Sleep Tracker In Your Bullet Journal
Hi, friends!
It’s Char here from the Archer & Olive 2022 Design Team, and I’m going to talk you through how to set up and use a sleep tracker in your bullet journal.
Trackers can be a great way to keep yourself accountable, or to take note of how specific habits can affect your mood. But if you’re like me, sometimes doing a standard habit tracker with multiple habits all in one place can be overwhelming. I prefer to focus on one thing at a time, and in this case, we’re talking sleep!
Supplies
Below is a rundown of some of the products I used to create this spread. If you would like to purchase any of these products, remember to use the code CHAR10 at checkout to save yourself some money!
- A5 Neapolitan Time for Tea Dot Grid Notebook - This journal has 3 different types of paper so that you can pick your favourite between Kraft, Blackout, or regular white pages. You can also do this spread on one of the Dot Grid Notepads, or on any of the other Dot Grid Journals.
- Calliographs - I used blues, greys and golden yellows to do the main lettering, and to accent the little doodles on this spread.
- Fineliner: Pentel Energel 0.7mm

There are a couple of different ways you can set up a sleep tracker, and as always, I recommend playing around to see what works best for you. Change things up and make adjustments wherever you feel like you need to, or add your own spin on the lettering or doodles to make it feel like your own.
Sleep Tracker 1: Bar Graph
This version of a sleep tracker is for those who want to keep track of their bedtime and wake up time in addition to their hours of sleep. Every morning, just colour in the squares starting with when you went to bed and ending with when you woke up - then note the total hours slept in the coloured in portion.
Sleep Tracker 1: Line Graph
This is a great option for those who like the visual satisfaction of a classic line graph. If you have a specific goal (for example, to get 7 hours of sleep per night) you can also add a dotted line across the horizontal line to give you the extra push to reach (or surpass) it every night.

To get you started on your own Sleep Tracker, I’ve created a printable that you can decorate and fill in yourself. Feel free to re-print and re-use this month after month!
Conclusion
Like most bullet journaling, these spreads work best when you make them your own. Doodle, draw, letter and experiment to find the best way to do these for yourself!

Hello I’m new to your company as well to bullet journaling. I use to work in a Happy Planner but it became so stressful when I would look at empty pages because I had no time to work in it and I had to follow their format. I think buju will help me with my depression and anxiety at least that’s my prayer. Thank you for being there when I needed your company.
