Step 1: Choose your colors
The first step is to select the colors you want to use for your background. Choose vibrant colors that complement each other and create a harmonious color scheme. I am using Acrylograph Pens from their Tropical Collection.
Step 2: Mark the area
Using a washi tape, mark the area on the sketchbook where you would like the background to be. I have used washi tape from the Beach Vibes Washi Tape Set.
Step 3: Create the background
Use the chosen colors to draw the puddles in the background.
You can create desired shaped and fill them using Acrylograph Pens-Tropical Collection.
Step 4: Sketch your mandala
Once you have created your colorful background, use a pencil and a compass to sketch the basic structure of your mandala.
Step 5: Add details
Once you have the basic structure of your mandala mapped out, it's time to start adding details. Use a pen or a fine-point marker to draw intricate patterns within each section.
You can draw anything from geometric shapes to floral patterns, or anything else that inspires you. The key is to repeat the pattern throughout the section to create a cohesive design.
Step 6: Create some floral elements
If you want to add more detail to your design, you can create some floral illustrations.
You can make another floral that complements the mandala or a leafy pattern to create a contrast.
Step 7: Enjoy your creation
Once you are finished creating your mandala, step back and admire your hard work.
You have just created a beautiful symbol of harmony and balance. You can use your mandala to meditate or simply as a piece of decorative art. Whatever your intention, your mandala is sure to bring you joy and a sense of accomplishment.
