April Plan With Me - Bees Theme

by Maria Irina 01 Apr 2020 3 Comments

Hey guys, Masha here from Masha Plans!

March is almost over so it’s time to set up your April. What I decided to do for my April is …. Bees!!

These days are hard for us all, and I’m doing the best I can to deal with self-isolation. For me, my best way to get distracted and deal with being stuck in a foreign country is by using my Bullet Journal.

So, there is a chance I went a bit overboard with my setup - like, I used a ruler to draw all the honeycombs. But it calmed me down and enjoyed my relaxation time.

I hope you can see on the pages how much love I put in it!

SUPPLIES

Notebook - Archer and Olive B5 is still my favorite notebook, and this one is from the new collection and it's sooooooo pretty!!

Don't forget you'll get 10% off your order from Archer and Olive if you use my code MASHA10.

Fineliners - I’m still using my favorite Faber Castell Pitt Artist pens.

Markers - I used ALL the yellows I had with me, mostly I had some Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

COVER PAGE

Bee themed doodles are very simple but are pretty time-consuming.

Honestly, if you have stencils for these shapes, you’ll do it much faster. I recommend a Westcott shape ruler.

For the cover page, I wanted to add everything I’m going to have on all my other pages for April, so we have here some honeycombs, flowers and of course, bees!

MONTHLY  SPREAD

As always I don’t really need that much space in terms of planning my month, and as I looked back at my future log I realized I don’t have any birthdays or big events in April.

So I went with my favorite format - a little calendar to know how the month goes and space for my to-dos.

To make it easier I color-coded events and birthdays so I can just add a colored dot to my calendar on the day off, and then, once I finished the setup I realized there isn’t actually anything happening.

HABIT TRACKER

The time of self-isolation is great for working on yourself and your habits, so I created a habit tracker for 9 different habits.

I’m sure I will do pretty well on my “No Spending” habit these days, especially after I already raided Michael’s and their sales.

MOOD TRACKER

I usually am not the one to do mood trackers, but I think this month it’s kind of necessary.

I recommend we all give a try to mood trackers! These are hard times especially mentally and racking how good your days are can be very helpful.

Monitor how your moods are changing and when you see it goes down make sure you do something for yourself to keep the spirits up.

GRATITUDE LOG

Finally, here is my favorite and a must-have spread - a gratitude log.

Thankfully this month is even 30 days, so I could create the perfect table for each day. I’m not sure how to use it yet, whether to do a word a day or maybe just several lines of text.

And that’s pretty much it for this April setup.

What theme did you choose for your April setup?

Let us know and if you’re inspired by my bee theme be sure to tag me and @archerandolive on Instagram, we’d love to see your creations.

And remember: Keep Bullet Journaling and Don’t Be A Blob!
