A Year in Fitness
This is a yearly spread to track your fitness. Create this grid by making columns for each month and adding the months along the top and the dates along the side. The way I will use this spread is by marking off each day I complete some kind of fitness. This will give you a good overview of how much fitness you achieved each year. You can choose to colour code different types of exercise for each day. For example, you might choose pink for yoga and blue for gym sessions. You can adapt this spread in many ways to suit your fitness.
Workout Routine
Create this spread by drawing a line down the middle of your page and use arrows to point out what you will do in your workout. You can keep it general like I have by using words like cardio, stretching and cool down. Or you can make it more specific for example run for 5 minutes or 10 sit ups. This spread is great for setting up a workout that you want to regularly use and you can keep it beside you whilst working out for a quick reminder. Personalise this spread by adding some colourful doodles of different fitness equipment.
Fitness Bingo
This is one of my favourite fitness spreads. This is a fun monthly challenge to try and encourage you to try different types of fitness. The aim is to complete a bingo each month by completing one of the fitness challenges. Personalise this spread by picking your favourite types of fitness and pick something new to encourage yourself to try something new.
Fitness Ideas
The fitness ideas spread is one that you can add to all year round. You might try a new fitness class and really love it. Add it to your fitness idea spread! When you’re looking to change up your fitness routine, you can come have a look at this spread to remind you of all the different exercises and fitness that you have previously enjoyed. You can also use this to put down different types of fitness you want to try. I have made this spread simple through using a fine liner and adding a small piece of washi tape for a pop of colour.
Monthly Fitness Tracker
For this tracker, make a bar chart with the amount of days for that month. I have then chosen two colours that represent two different types of fitness for example hula hooping and swimming. Along the top, you can choose how long you will track it for. You may use hours or minutes depending on how much exercise you choose to do. Mark off each day when you complete your fitness and for how long you have exercised for. I find I’m more motivated when I know I get to fill in a tracker!
Fitness Goals
This spread is great to work out what you want to achieve within your fitness and create some goals. Set yourself three goals and plan when you want to achieve them. Include an inspiring quote and photo to help motivate you on your fitness journey.
Exercise Log
Use this log to see how much exercise you have done over the last two weeks. In each column log the type of exercise that you have completed. You can include how long you did it for, how you felt during it etc. After two weeks, adapt the log for week three and four and so on. This log will help you see what fitness you are doing regularly and what days you may need to try something different.
30 Day Fitness Challenge
Just like the fitness bingo, this spread is a fun challenge to help you try different types of fitness through the month. I have picked 30 different types of exercise and fitness that I will try and do each day. This type of spread is a fun challenge and gets you working out each day for 30 days! Create your own using 4x4 boxes within a grid and choose some of your favourite fitness challenges to get started on your 30 day challenge.
Daily Fitness Log
Make sure to grab yourself this as a free printable to add to your journal. For this spread use it section to make the most of your fitness days. Start by using the plan to add in anything you have to do that day such as work. In today's workout, you can either include a plan for what you want to achieve or you can use this box to write what fitness you have done today. In the food boxes, track or plan the food you have eaten or the calories, depending on how you like to track your eating. Finally, use the food, water and sleep sections to track these for your day. This will give you a good overall plan or tracker for your day filled with fitness.
Monthly Fitness Log
Use the bar chart to fill in how much fitness you have completed this month. You can choose whether to use minutes or hours, depending on how much exercise you do daily. This spread is great for seeing how much fitness you managed to achieve this month. Use the achievements section to write down what you're proud of for this month.
