by Content Team 07 Sep 2025 0 Comments

Hello everyone, my name is Keisha from @k.moartsy.journals and for more art and journal inspiration you can find me onĀ InstagramĀ and TikTok Ā at that handle. Today we are creating a monthly goals page. A monthly goals page can be a fun and helpful way to keep track of your personal goals on a monthly basis. In this blog I will be sharing what a monthly goals page is, what tools I use to create it, and how I designed the page.

What is a Monthly goals page?

A monthly goals page is a tool used to outline and track specific objectives or targets that you can typically achieve within a particular month. Ā Creating a monthly goals page can help to maintain focus, increase your productivity and help to create a clear path to completing your goals each month. Incorporating a monthly goals page in your routine can significantly enhance your overall well-being as well. This project is also a perfect way to hold yourself accountable, because it can encourage you to follow through on your commitments while also tracking your progress on a monthly basis.Ā  No matter how big or small the goal is, having a visual representation of the goal may help to create a sense of urgency or obligation to complete it.

Listed below are some additional benefits of creating a monthly goal page:

  1. Motivation: Setting specific goals can boost motivation making it easier to stay committed
  2. Clarity and Focus: can help to define what you want to achieve in physical form.
  3. Self-awareness: Regularly reviewing your goals can help lead to better decision making.
  4. Stress Reduction: Having a clear plan can help to reduce anxiety by providing a structured approach to managing tasks.
  5. Ability to celebrate completion: creating this page can give you the chance to celebrate your successes and encourage you to set a new goal.

If you need a little help getting started, listed below are some topics you can use to create your own monthly goal page:

  • Health and wellness: set goals related to weight loss, nutrition, mental health and exercise routinesĀ
  • Reading: you can keep track of the number of books you would like to read in a month’s time. You could even log new books that you’d like to read.
  • Travel and experiences: in this section you could set goals for travel or new experiences you want to have during the month.
  • Creative projects: Identify goals for artistic pursuits, such as completing or starting a painting, writing etc.
  • Financial Goals: set target goals for savings, budgeting and/or investments.
  • Time management: Set goals to improve productivity or reduce procrastination.Ā
  • Community involvement: goals relating to volunteering, charity events etc.

How to design your monthly goals page:

The design of your page is totally up to you. I have chosen to highlight the following:

  • monthly priorities
  • events
  • reading goals
  • notes

As always, I’ve chosen to add a little art to my design. The mediums I used are acrylic paint and calliograph markers by Archer and Olive. I’ve also opted to keep my page fairly simple and that was intentional. I didn’t want to overwhelm myself, so I chose to highlight goals that could be easily attained.
